Description
As a SLED Channel Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth within the SLED market segment. Specifically, you will be assigned to supporting distributor managed resellers in the Northeast region who have SLED practices.
You will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, establishing and fostering relationships with key stakeholders, and promoting our comprehensive portfolio of technology solutions.
This position requires a deep understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by government entities and educational institutions.
What you’ll be doing
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets within the SLED Northeast market.
- Collaborate with channel partners and resellers to drive sales within the SLED market.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and gather insights on industry trends and competitive landscapes.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including government officials, procurement officers, and educational administrators.
- Collaborate with internal teams to customize solutions that align with the specific needs and requirements of prospective clients.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations and demonstrations to showcase the value of our solutions.
- Negotiate and close deals, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both parties.
- Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
What we are looking for
- 4-year degree
- Minimum of 10+ years of customer facing direct sales roles
- Proven track record of success in selling products or services to the SLED market in the Northeast.
- Enterprise level SaaS and Services sales success focused on margin.
- Experience selling in the Distribution Channel.
- Ability to solve complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions.
- Process oriented and analytical.
- Strong SF.com proficiency and forecasting accuracy.
- Self-starter, gritty & coachable
- Team oriented leader
- Strong work ethic and proven track record in a KPI based Sales Model
- This is a field seller role; ability to travel within territory is required.

Annual Hiring Range / Hourly Rate :
$134,900.00 - $175,013.52
Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and / or skill level.
The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
