JOB DESCRIPTION
Ecolab is looking for a Project Manager for our Pharma Enterprise Solutions team which continues to develop strategies and opportunities that support our customers across various businesses Nalco Water Light, Pharma & Personal Care, and Purolite.
This Project Manager will be responsible for supporting our solutions which requires experience, knowledge, and sustainable management to assure thoughtful and thorough execution through the complexity of solutions across business.
This project Manager will be responsible for working with key stakeholders and work on complex and multi-facet projects across different line of businesses within Ecolab amongst other responsibilities.
Position Details
- Candidate can reside US, UK, or EU, near a major airport
- Willingness / ability to travel 25%+
What You Will Do
- Lead portfolio of projects across multiple functional areas involving sales, supply chain, finance, R&D, etc., with potential to coach and lead other project managers
- Provide visibility to key stakeholders on project status; consolidate updates, needs, and urgent requirements from each workstream to succinctly communicate high-level message to Ecolab Senior Leadership and Executive Leadership Teams
- Collaborate across teams to identify, track, and manage key interdependencies and facilitate cross-project activities
- Support the management of KPIs / metrics and timelines for various workstreams
- Partner with delivery teams to identify high-level milestones
- Maintain and report out regular status via a consolidated RAID (risks, actions, issues, and decisions) log, and understand risk mitigation strategies (what is plan A, B, C )
- Drive resolution and communication on key high impact cross team issues / risks
- Act as escalation point and / or drive resolution on higher impact issues / roadblocks
- Facilitate resource planning and budgeting activities
- Review, refine and drive team adherence to standards and processes
- Identify, raise, and track improvement opportunities
- Build a culture of strong engagement, accountability and high performance across functions and delivery teams
- Build digital project competencies and attract, mentor and groom digital talent
- Support ad-hoc business needs through workshop facilitation and training
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Science, or allied studies or related field
- 7 years professional work experience in a corporate environment
- 4 years of project leadership experience specifically in managing initiatives for cost reduction, continuous improvement, and / or complex innovation launches
- Experience within a discrete manufacturing environment
- Experience in analytical skills and working with various data sets
- Excellent verbal / written communication skills to share knowledge, deliver project solutions, and keep stakeholders engaged and informed
- Strong interpersonal skills : ability to foster trusting relationships, collaborate, influence, and persuade decision-makers, and motivate team members
- Demonstrated success initiating change and ability to influence at all levels
- Experience in managing multiple, diverse priorities and projects
- Ability to clearly communicate cross-functionally
- Self-driven and outcome-oriented
- Demonstrated comfort learning new things and dealing with ambiguity

Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in business, Engineering, Science, or allied studies or related field is preferred
- Life sciences industry experience is preferred
- PMP Certified and / or Black Belt Certified
- Training or certification in Change Leadership principles and practices
- Training in Project Management
