Specializing in private sector projects, we work on diverse and exciting developments, including retail, commercial, office buildings, and warehouses, ranging from 1 acre to over 200 acres.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a highly specialized team and advance into a VP position within the next few years.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Professional Land Surveyor / Senior Project Manager position include :
- Illinois Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS)
- 10+ years of experience in private sector surveying, with at least 2 years in project management
- Proficiency in analyzing title commitments and land boundaries.
- Must have experience with Boundary, Topographic, ALTA / NSPS, and other survey types.
- Excellent skills in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office, and other computer / technical applications.
- Managing projects through research, fieldwork, CAD, and project management phases.
- Overseeing a team of party chiefs and coordinating with field crews.
- Preparing proposals, ensuring project scope compliance, and completing projects on time and within budget.
- Maintaining good relationships with clients and staff, and providing accurate billing for projects.
Salary : $90,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus bonus potential.
