What We Look For :
We are seeking individuals who are committed, compassionate, and ready to make a positive impact. Our ideal candidates will have :
A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
The ability to pass a background check and drug test
Strong organizational skills and accountability
A positive and compassionate attitude
A strong work ethic
A commitment to health and safety
Experience in dementia, Alzheimer’s, or stroke care training is preferred but not required
Your Responsibilities :
As an in-home caregiver at A Place at Home - Sugar Land, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our clients.
Your responsibilities will include :
Offering emotional support and personalized companion care to clients
Assisting clients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
Preparing meals according to dietary restrictions and assisting with eating if needed
Providing medication reminders as directed by healthcare providers
Helping clients with mobility needs, including walking assistance and bed transfers
Performing light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
Maintaining accurate records of care provided and communicating any changes in client condition
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and support
