Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week
Experience : Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an acute care facility
License : State Professional Registered Nurse License or multi-state compact license
Certifications : BLS-AHA, ACLS, PALS
Must-Have : Experience in CAT Scan, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine / PET. ASN Required; BSN Preferred
Job Description :
- Deliver nursing practices in accordance with the latest evidence-based research, nursing policies, and standards of care.
- Provide individualized patient care ensuring safe and excellent delivery.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Evaluate patients and assist physicians in delivering patient care.
- Develop and document nursing care plans based on patient needs.
- Identify patient needs and priorities through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Coordinate individualized care plans for assigned patients based on on-going assessments.
- Initiate assessments based on patient problems or needs, medical diagnosis, and functional health framework.
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care.
- Advocate and support the adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.
- Provide patient-centric care aligned with the professional nursing practice model.
- Collect comprehensive patient data pertinent to health or the situation.
- Perform age and disease-specific assessments / data collection independently.
- Recognize changes in clinical and diagnostic status.
- Identify patient and family education needs based on age, disease, and culturally specific learning differences.
- Schedule includes working every 7-8th weekend, rotating on-call Monday-Thursday, and as needed on holidays. On-call is required.
