The Phoenix, AZ location, Roadrunner Pharmacy, is a fast-paced compounding pharmacy with a dynamic and energetic team of individuals.
We are now hiringCertifiedandLicensed Pharmacy Techniciansto join ourCompounding and Call Center teams. Candidates must have organization skills, proficiency with computer systems, the capacity to work both autonomously and in a team environment, all while maintaining a positive attitude at all times.
Requirements :
- Skills in operating computers
- Ability to pay attention to detail and retain information readily
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (AZ Certified Pharmacy Technician and Nationally certified)
- Must be 18 years of age or older
Responsibilities :
Call Center Pharmacy Technician
- Provides prompt and considerate service to all customers.
- Ensures that all requests / required data entry is accurate and completed on time.
- Maintains performance levels to specified goals
- Successfully completes tasks associated with an inbound / outbound call center setting.
Compounding Pharmacy Technician
Perform duties assigned by a licensed pharmacist. Areas of work are checked routinely for maintenance of quality control.
Work is conducted in accordance with generally accepted standards of practice following departmental procedures and policies.
- Read and interpret veterinarian orders received in pharmacy and transcribe the same onto pharmacy computer medication profile.
- Prepare in accordance with pharmacy law and standards of pharmacy practice, prescriptions to be dispensed after pharmacist approval.
- Follow all safety and USP guidelines for the preparation of compounded medications.
