Position Summary

The Director of Outpatient Rehabilitation Services is responsible for developing, managing, and directing all aspects of Outpatient Rehabilitation Services operations and promoting quality care within MultiCare Health System.

This position is directly responsible for program building and development, increasing market share in outpatient rehabilitation.

Work situations require applying principles of leadership, human resources, and continuous quality improvement in the overall management, coordination, supervision, development, and refinement of Outpatient Rehabilitation Services.

Internal contacts are at all levels and require establishing rapport and developing strong working relationships. External contacts include outside organizations, physicians, clients and their families, vendors, and consultants.

Hospital-based leaders may have a dual matrixed reporting structure.

Requirements

  • Graduate degree in related field (ie. PT, OT, SLP, or Healthcare Admin)
  • Licensed to practice in the state of Washington as PT, OT or SLP
  • Membership in the appropriate professional organization
  • Five (5) years experience in Physical or Occupational Therapy or Speech / Language pathology
  • Six (6) years of progressively more responsible experience in a leadership / management role
  • Multi-hospital system experience preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off.

As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position.

The pay scale is $130,499.00 - $187,782.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to : skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and / or education.

If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
