Job Summary : The contractor shall provide all base level, mobile, scheduled and / or unscheduled maintenance; preventative maintenance inspections / tests;
Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTO) inspections; one-time inspections; service bulletins; and safety recalls.
Duties :
- Repair / replace unserviceable parts, assemblies, subassemblies, OEM attachments, and components as required by TO 36-1-191.
- Refinish, fabricate parts, make modifications, repair accessories and auxiliary equipment, body and structural repair, wood bed / racks, glass replacement, and painting and upholstery repair including carpeting, seat belts, and floor mats as required by TO 36-1-191.
- Manage and maintain a safe, serviceable, and reliable fleet of vehicles, and equipment capable of fulfilling all performance requirements.
- Maintain all vehicles maintenance functions in accordance with (IAW) applicable Technical Orders (TOs); Air Force Instructions (AFIs);
regulations; publications; Air Force Occupational Safety, Fire Protection, and Health (AFOSH) Programs.
- Provide vehicle maintenance for all vehicle types such as but limited to : light and heavy construction equipment and vehicles;
- light and heavy passenger vehicles; forklifts; semi-truck; light and heavy military vehicles; armored and unarmored military vehicles;
medical transport vehicles
- Responsible for all base-level maintenance, scheduled / unscheduled, concurrent, and special inspections, tests and calibration IAW intervals established in TO 36-1- 191, Technical and Managerial Reference for Motor Vehicle Maintenance.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, concurrent and special inspections, tests, and calibration on or before the date (ref AFI 24-302, para 1.
11), miles, hours, kilometers as specified on the scheduled inspection reports and scheduled / annual maintenance checklists.
- Provide unscheduled mobile maintenance during normal duty hours, as required, to start or repair vehicles and equipment that are disabled and away from the immediate vicinity of shop area.
- Provide and maintain a complete quality control program to ensure vehicle maintenance, vehicle operation, and vehicle fleet management services are performed in accordance with the established performance objectives and performance thresholds
Minimum Qualifications :
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certified in medium / heavy duty truck specialty or possess 3 years’ experience in medium / heavy duty vehicle maintenance.
- Class A Commercial Driver’s License preferred but not required
- Ability to pass drug and background screening
