We are currently seeking a Phlebotomist float to work on our hospital team in a Quaternary care facility in the Swedish Ballard campus , Swedish Cherry Hill and First Hill campus, and Swedish Issaquah campus .

In this role you will cover for vacant and vacationing peers at three locations; while providing exceptional customer service and performing skilled specimen collections.

In addition, you will be provided opportunities for continuous growth within a global organization with Labcorp.

Pay Range : $21.44 / hourly - $31.65 / hourly

Float Differential : $2.00 / hourly

Work Schedule : Sunday to Thursday, 5 : 00am - 1 : 30pm, additional hours when needed

Work Location : Seattle, Ballard, and Issaquah, WA.

and United Food and Commercial Workers Union, Local 21. Job Responsibilities :

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• follow strict Standard Operating Procedures.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary

Job Requirements :

• Must have valid Washington issued Phlebotomy License or have an application for Phlebotomy License filed with Washington Department of Health at time of hire
• Previous experience as a phlebotomist preferred
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Physically able to be on your feet and / or walking for long periods of your shift
