Director, Advanced Analytics Inventory Excellence

The Director, Advanced Analytics Inventory Excellence is a strategic leader focused on driving inventory strategies that power Walmart Merchandising's digital transformation. This highly visible role leads Walmarts eCommerce Ordering & Inventory Management Team and is responsible for ensuring the items customers want, need and love are available to ship from our FC network. This associate will lead their team by providing thought leadership in inventory management focused on improving item availability for customers at the lowest enterprise cost. This role works with key partners in Merchandising, Supply Chain, eCommerce, data science, product, and engineering teams. The position is based in Bentonville, AR and reports to the Senior Director, Inventory Strategy & Analytics within Merchandising Excellence.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sams Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelors degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to a specific plan or program terms.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum Qualifications :

Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or related field and 5 years experience in data analytics or related field OR 7 years experience in data analytics or related field. 4 years supervisory experience OR experience leading cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications :

Cluster analysis techniques, simulation, inferential statistics, neural networks, or data mining techniques Masters : Business Administration, Masters : Information Systems, Masters : Statistics
