Description
The Document Production Specialist provides document processing services, creating a variety of documents and materials using Microsoft Office Suite products and other firm supported software.
- Responsibilities include using word processing software and other technical applications to input, edit, format and spell-check documents;
- performing scanning, clean-up and formatting of images; proofreading; responding to inquiries regarding status of projects;
answering routine questions regarding basic applications and department procedures; and continually developing proficiency with document production software and technical applications.
Other duties may include answering phones, assisting with time entry, assisting with pre-bill edits, burning CDs, creating file labels, setting up binders and other clerical tasks as needed.
- Candidate will have strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; have certification as a Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) or be willing to obtain such certification;
- have accurate and proficient typing skills (minimum of 75 words per minute preferred); be a collaborative team member; have excellent proofreading skills;
- have a technical aptitude and willingness to learn new applications; be able to follow directions and use good judgment to perform tasks under limited supervision;
have the ability to analyze tasks in order to organize, prioritize and handle multiple projects and be able to function in a high production environment.
Candidate should have strong customer service and communication skills, be reliable, and the flexibility to handle any tasks that are needed.
