Zwicker is presently seeking a Collector to join our team. We are seeking a candidate with an eagerness to learn, as well as exemplary organizational and written and verbal communication skills to join our team.

Collectors are responsible for contacting individuals about their accounts and negotiating payment arrangements and settlements.
The office is located at 14055 Riveredge Drive, Tampa, FL 33637 and the role is fully onsite for the first 90 days of employment with potential flexibility after.
Start date is October 7, 2024. The base hourly rate for this position is $17.00-$20.00 plus uncapped commission.
The schedule is Monday Friday - 8 AM - 7 PM, no weekends.
Responsibilities of a Debt Collector include
- Outbound Call Center
- Negotiates settlements & repayment agreements with debtors
- Record accurate and detailed notes; update account status and card member’s information into computer system
- Meet and / or exceed performance goals, deadlines and objectives
- Comply with FDCPA and state consumer protection laws
- Comply with policies and procedures of Zwicker & Associates, P.C.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements :
- Above average phone skills
- Strong negotiation & communication skills
- Well organized, results driven
- Effective decision-making skills
- Basic computer skills
- Basic math skills. You will be required to complete a standard math skills assessment. Failure to satisfactorily complete this assessment could result in termination of employment.
Physical Qualifications
- Be able to lift five pounds or greater
- Be able to sit 90% of the work day at times
- Be able to bend at the waist and be mobile when needed
- Be able to read and comprehend position specific documents and correspondence
- Be able to communicate in a common language with (or to) individuals or groups verbally and / or in writing
- Be able to operate a computer, phone, or equivalent device
- Be able to complete a minimum of a 40-hour flexible workweek schedule
