Business Dev Director Sr - Transactional Company HSB Location Denver , United States

This position is responsible for the relationship management for the company and providing large account expertise to meet the company's growth of assigned Client Companies and national brokers / wholesalers.

Incumbent will be charged with incorporating and supporting HSB products into client's standard offerings and demonstrating how HSB products offer a valuable protection and creative insurance solutions .

Identify growth opportunities in both Cyber and Equipment Breakdown. Extensively understands complex relationships with an emphasis on offering client centric solution of coverages and loss prevention capabilities.

Qualifications

Education and Experience :

  • A bachelor's degree in sales or marketing is preferred
  • 7+ years of professional experience in the Property & Casualty or Surplus Line industries

Knowledge and Skills :

  • General knowledge of property casualty insurance
  • Specific knowledge of the product line (EB, Cyber, Predict and Prevent capabilities, Energy)
  • Ability to assess and understand workflows
  • Consultative Selling skills
  • Presentation skills
  • Extensive Product knowledge of HSB products and ability to identify potential Munich Re cross sell opportunities
  • Territory / Client Management skills
  • Communication skills (written and verbal)

The base salary range anticipated for this position is $110,600-$176,300; plus opportunity for company bonus based upon a percentage of eligible pay.

In addition, the company makes available a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, 401k match, retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).

The salary estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for candidates hired in this position in Colorado. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role.

Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the range.
