Entry Level Accounting Assistant

Position Overview : Assist the Accounting Department with completing timely and accurate financial reporting, schedule reconciliation and assisting with the vehicle billing.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES : To include but are not limited to the following :

• Accounting experience is a benefit but not a must-have, we will train the right candidate.
• Automotive knowledge of accounting a plus.
• Working CDK DMS experience a plus.
• Microsoft Excel and Office background is required.
• Ability to accurately input information, invoices, receipts, correspondence, spreadsheets and other documents.
• Performs variety of clerical duties including scanning, researching, and data entry.
• Review incoming documents for accuracy, determine discrepancies and request additional information as needed.
• Abide by all policies and procedures of the organization.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :

• Good understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable / receivable principles.
• Proficiency in MS Office, excel and accounting software.
• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reporting.
• Attention to detail and aptitude for numbers.
• Must be able to work in a team environment
