JOB DESCRIPTION :
- Position reports to Irrigation Manager, Account Managers, Division Manager
- Professionally represent Mill Brothers Landscape Group in all activities
- Understand and follow the Company safety and operational policies
- Perform irrigation activations, winterizations, and monthly inspections
- Make required repairs to irrigation systems
- Program all types of irrigation controllers and document programs
- Train subordinate staff
- Complete daily paperwork (timesheets, time and materials sheets, etc.)
- Participate in snow removal operations
- Cover shifts as the on-call technician
- Other activities, as assigned by Management, to meet Company goals
REQUIRED SKILLS :
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as both part of a team and independently
- Must be able to accept directions and execute directives as given
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Exceptional time and organizational skills
- Must be able to lift 50lbs regularly and 75lbs occasionally
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to manage advanced irrigation control systems
- Clean driving record that is insurable with company insurance
EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :
- No minimum education requirements
- Experience with plan reading and interpretation
- 1+ years of irrigation management and repair experience
