InterMedia Group of Companies is looking for an energetic Junior Business Development Coordinator to help drive our sales and grow the business.
You will help the team attract new clients and build solid relationships with them while keeping existing relationships.
Other duties will include assisting with market research, developing business strategies and pitches, managing a variety of projects, and identifying new business opportunities.
You will work with various departments and report to the Head of Business Development.
The successful applicant will be resourceful, organized, and motivated to increase sales, enhance the company's reputation, and look for new and creative ways to market our products.
A background in sales or marketing is strongly desirable.
What You Will Do :
As part of the Company’s business development team, the chosen candidate will be a key part in expanding our client base, actively driving the introductions and meetings with potential clients, acting as the first point of contact.
Some of the expectations of the role include :
- Conduct daily outreach to assigned leads through email, social media, and outbound telephone calls for the purpose of soliciting new business for the Company.
- Lead cultivation, data mining and category research in the identified categories (in the categories or Lead groups assigned to Employee).
- Function as the first point of contact with potential new clients, as the sales opener pitching InterMedia Group of Companies services and how they best meet the customer’s needs, leading to the initial sales meeting.
- Actively assist with coordinating and scheduling new business calls and meetings with potential clients for the sales team from those initial outreach calls, emails, and all other types of communication.
- Be available to travel to meet with prospective.
- Clients (when safe from a subjective standard to do so).
- Such other duties and responsibilities as the Company may assign from time to time.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
- Experience in sales and marketing.
- Excellent computer skills particularly with sales programs and customer maintenance databases.

Education and Experience :
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising or Business.
- Associates degree in a business-related field.
Work Environment :
- The ability to work in a private office or shared office space.
- Ability to work extended hours including evenings and weekends when necessary and particularly at the end of the month or the end of a fiscal year.
Requirements :
- Travel to client sites, trade shows and conferences.
- Wage & Hour Status - Non-Exempt.
