Job Summary
We are an Intellectual Property Law Frim seeking a Legal Assistant / Paralegal. Intellectual Property Law knowledge is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities include : preparation, filing and prosecution of U.S. and foreign patents and trademarks. This position is responsible for performing a variety of paralegal duties.
Qualifications
REQUIRED :
- 2+ years of office or administrative experience
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple, competing priorities in an effective manner
- Ability to prioritize workload in order to meet deadlines
- Minimum typing speed of 60 wpm
PREFERRED :
- Intellectual Property Law Experience
- CPi docketing experience
- Previous paralegal or legal assistant experience
