Job Overview

The primary responsibility is to deliver software support for various network hardware, including CISCO routers and switches, Dell PCs, Sun Servers, Juniper routers, In-Line Encryption (INE) devices, and network security appliances.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Tier II customer service support to US ARMY INSCOM customers.
• Deliver software support for network hardware, including CISCO routers and switches, Dell PCs, Sun Servers, Juniper routers, In-Line Encryption (INE) devices, and network security appliances.
• Work within a large facility, typically in a cubicle environment, and adapt to varying client needs.
• Participate in military exercises and operations in austere conditions, potentially in challenging environmental conditions.
• Perform tasks that may involve lifting and carrying boxes or supplies up to 25 lbs.
• Utilize general office equipment, including telephones, fax machines, copiers, and PCs / laptops.
• Maintain a flexible schedule, including potential night and weekend shifts and travel with military operations.
• Demonstrate professional behavior that promotes teamwork, cooperation, and productivity in the workplace.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a variety of personnel, including government, military, and contractors.

Skills and Qualifications Required

• Clearance Requirements : TS / SCI
• Minimum of 5 years in configuring, operating, and troubleshooting networks.
• Certification Requirements : IAT-2 : GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP, or CCNA-Security & OS Cert : CCNA or CCENT
• Ability to coordinate, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Grooming and attire are generally business casual, in accordance with client standards.
• Note : This position requires a US government security clearance. If you hold dual citizenship (i.e., citizenship in the US and another country), you must relinquish your foreign citizenship to be granted clearance.
