Job Title : Interventional Radiology Technologist
Location : Fort Worth, TX
Shift : 8 HR Days (7 : 00 AM - 3 : 00 PM)
Shifts Per Week : 5
Scheduled Hours : 40
Hourly Pay Range : $33 - $48
Sign-On Bonus : $15,000 (for qualified applicants)
Job Overview :
We are seeking a dedicated Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. This position involves working in a state-of-the-art facility with high-acuity patients.
You will perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform high-quality imaging procedures in accordance with department protocols.
- Assist the radiologist with interventional procedures such as angiograms, stent placements, and embolizations.
- Monitor patient conditions, ensuring safety and comfort throughout procedures.
- Operate and maintain radiology equipment, ensuring it is clean and functional.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, including nurses and physicians, to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures according to hospital policies.
Qualifications :
- Education : Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program.
- Licensure / Certification :
- ARRT-R (Radiography) certification required.
- Must obtain one of the following certifications within two (2) years of hire : ARRT-CI (Cardiac Interventional Radiography), ARRT-VI (Interventional Radiography), or ARRT-CV (Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography).
- Experience : Minimum 1-3 years of experience in interventional radiology preferred.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire.
