Job Description
The Department of Kinesiology, Health and Sport Sciences at the University of Indianapolis invites applications for an Associate Adjunct Professor.
This is a part-time position beginning August 2024 and continuing through May 2025. The position may be renewed in subsequent years for a part-time, nine-month assignment.
Associate Adjuncts teach 15-21 credit hours during the academic year. Candidates with related certifications, an outstanding teaching record, and a desire to mentor young adults are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities
Teaches beginning through advanced courses in exercise science at the undergraduate level and prepares students for professional employment
May advise students
Potential course responsibilities : Group Exercise Leadership and Programming, Advanced Wellness, Teaching Dual and Individual Activities, Stress Management and Human Health, internship supervision, undergraduate student advising, and other courses / activities as assigned.
Qualifications
Master of Science in Exercise Science or a related area required
Relevant experience and teaching experience preferred
Areas of expertise in Exercise Science content preferred
