Job Description

Candidates will be making parts for agricultural and transportation products. You will work off of blueprints, setting up and adjusting programs on a CNC Tube Laser Machine.

This role also involves loading and unloading material and making necessary adjustments on machines.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Tube Laser Machine to manufacture parts for agricultural and transportation products.
• Work off of blueprints to set up and adjust programs on the machine.
• Load and unload materials.
• Make adjustments on machines as required.
• Ensure accurate measurements using a tape measure.
• Perform machine setup and changeovers between parts.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in using a tape measure.
• Experience in laser operation and setup.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• 2 years of experience operating tube laser or other plasma, laser, or saw machines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with machine setup and changeovers.
• Strong ability to interpret and work from blueprints.

Work Environment

The work environment is a well-maintained shop that has recently expanded. You will be part of a team of about 40 people spread across different shifts.

The hours for this position are from 4 : 30 PM to 3 : 00 AM, Monday through Thursday, with overtime available on Fridays.

Initial training will be conducted on the day shift for 3-6 weeks, depending on how quickly the candidate adapts. There is a $2 / hour shift differential when transitioning to the night shift.
