Job Description

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Conducts risk assessment and provide recommendations for application design
  • Handles a wide range of security issues including architectures, firewalls, electronic data traffic, and network access
  • Performs analyses at all levels of total system product, including : concept design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal
  • Designs and develops new systems, applications, and solutions for external customer enterprise-wide cyber systems and networks
  • Performs analyses at all levels of total system product, including : concept design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.

Uses encryption technology, penetration including : concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal (delete on all descriptions)

  • Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints
  • Integrates new architectural features into existing infrastructures, designs cyber security architectural artifacts, provides architectural analysis and relates existing system to future needs and trends, embeds advanced forensic tools and techniques for attack reconstruction, provides engineering recommendations, and resolves integration / testing issues
  • Provides SME expertise on current systems with threats / product vulnerabilities, with a particular focus on how they relate to other systems
  • Produces quality assurance and information assurance-related reports and documentation
  • Resolves policy and process discrepancies with accepting an application and / or system.
  • Designs secure network and system security compliance polices
  • Leads risk assessment analyses of results, identifies potential for exploitations and assigns risk levels to systems
  • Leads general engineering reviews and reports on subjects affecting systems security

Requirements

MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS :

  • Secret clearance
  • Eligible for TS / SCI clearance
  • BS in Computer Science
  • CompTIA Security+ certified
  • 5-8 years of experience with Linux and Windows
  • Knowledge or experience with IA testing tools and scripts. (ACAS or Nessus, STIG Viewer, WASSP)

DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS :

  • MS in Computer Science
  • CompTIA A+, N+, certification
  • CISSP certification
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience with Tactical C5ISR systems

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL WITH TOP SECRET / SCI ELIGIBILITY
