Aerotek is looking for individuals with at least 3-4 years of on the job welding experience for a day or weekend shift welder role
Description :
- Will be working from blueprints, performing fitting, running .045 and 1 / 16 Flux Core wire.
- WELDING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! No entry level positions available
- Will be welding mostly with .035 and .045 wire.
- Will also be working from blueprints, fitting, and fabricating parts.
- Will be producing high volumes of some parts, and some one-off parts.
- Will not test for THC
You will also be conducting a lot of
- 5 / 16 fillet welds and 1 / 4 fillet weld
- 5 / 16 fillet weld
- 3 3 / 8 fillet weld
- 6 1 / 2 fillet weld WABO certification is a plus, but not required.
Requirements : Previous FCAW or GMAW or GTAW welding experience is required. Ability to obtain a 2G FCAW WABO and AWS certification.
Must be able to run .045 or 1 / 16th wire. Must be able to lift 75 lbs
