About The Role
At Rula, our Accounting department has a crucial role in our company's growth. In this dynamic role, the Staff Accountant will be a key player in ensuring the company’s cash management and accounts payable are efficient and timely, review accounts payable inboxes, invoices, and reimbursements for sustained precision, assist in company vendor setup, and provide assistance with annual audit preparation and tax filings.
This person will collaborate alongside a growing, evolving accounting team to generate financial reports, strengthen controls, and create process efficiencies that align with the company's mission and values.
Required Qualifications
In possession of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or currently working towards it
A professional with 2-4 years of progressive accounting experience
Someone with acute understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
Highly proficient in Excel
Able to manage multiple priorities and work with large amounts of data
Proactive in using problem-solving abilities and leveraging them to address issues as they arise
Someone who is naturally agile in a fast-paced industry, employing a high level of professionalism, ethics, and integrity in handling financial data and confidential information

Experience using NetSuite, Bill.com, Tipalti or similar ERP systems
Full cycle accounting experience
Experience working in a fast-paced technology, or similar healthcare services environment
