Position Description

TherapyTravelers is partnering with an exceptional school district who is looking for several contract Behavioral Interventionists (BI) for the 2022-2023 school year.

• Location : Evanston, IL
• Duration : Immediately June 8, 2023
• Onsite or Virtual : On-Site
• Full or Part Time : Full-Time; Part-Time
• Schedule : 28-32.5 hours / week
• Grade / Age Levels : Elementary School; Middle School
• Caseload Description : approx. Classroom aide / support

Qualifications

The minimum qualifications for a BI :

• 1 year of verifiable professional experience with provision of ABA, positive behavior supports, and crisis intervention for students with emotional disabilities in the school setting is preferred
• A Bachelor's degree and educational coursework completed in the areas of : Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Child Development, Special Education, Psychology or a related field is preferred for Behavior Interventionist / Behavioral Therapist positions
