Job Description
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Perform analysis based on large data sets to implement strategic decisions of the business units. Improve current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity.
- Performs analysis and identify data gaps. Develop processes or tools to manage the gaps and facilitate the implementation of processes with the business unit owners.
Provide assistance on data interpretation.
- Assist management in the capture, analysis and presentation of data to support the making of business decisions.
- Partner with product managers and heads of business units to perform ad-hoc research and analysis in support of overall business initiatives.
- Liaison with teams focused on a variety of products, programs and projects.
- Ensure strategies are rooted in thorough analysis that is evaluated for up and down stream impacts.
- Innovate and challenge traditional practices with thoughtful and supported assertions.
- Modernize business processes to empower employees and optimize resource allocation through a data driven culture.
- Assess the impact of changes on existing organization and business processes and ensure all interdependencies are identified.
Requirements
Required Skills :
- Ability to exercise initiative, problem identification, problem solving and independent decision making.
- Demonstrates excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Skilled in MS Office Application including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Salesforce / nCino, Cadence and Visio. Preference for skill in Excel functions such as pivot tables, macros, V lookup and formulas and the ability to present data to facilitate decision making.
Previous experience in the use of Salesforce / nCino, Cadence and Visio to document process flows preferred.
- Experience working in a financial institution, preferably with knowledge of C - I and CRE products.
- Ability to coordinate amongst multiple teams to meet divisional based deadlines.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, growing environment; multi-task and manage competing priorities.
Required Experience :
- High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 3 years' experience in business or process and report analysis.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business preferred.
