The team has extremely strong leadership. The Maintenance Mechanic would be working the AM Shift as a contractor and could be eligible for permanent employment for the PM shift.

Required mechanical, and electrical background with proficiency in hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial controls.

Job Details :

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Contract Maintenance Mechanic to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry.

This critical role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all mechanical and electrical equipment within our manufacturing facility.

The successful candidate will be a problem-solver, a team player, and will bring a strong background in mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, industrial controls, maintenance, electric motors, and PLC.

This is a contract position requiring 2+ years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities :

1. Perform routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment and machinery.

2. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.

3. Operate and maintain industrial control systems, electric motors, and PLC.

4. Ensure all machinery and equipment are in compliance with safety standards and regulations.

5. Document all performed maintenance work, repairs, and machine adjustments.

6. Collaborate with the maintenance team to implement effective maintenance strategies and schedules.

7. Recommend improvements to enhance the efficiency and functionality of machinery and equipment.

8. Assist in the installation and setup of new machinery and equipment.

9. Provide technical guidance to production staff and other maintenance personnel.

Qualifications :

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or similar role within the manufacturing industry.

2. Proven experience in mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, industrial controls, maintenance, electric motors, and PLC.

3. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

4. Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics.

5. Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in the manufacturing industry.

6. Strong communication and teamwork skills.

7. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

8. Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy machinery and work in confined spaces.

9. High school diploma or equivalent; certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is a plus.

10. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
