MACHINE TECHNICIAN LEAD

The Machine Technician Lead provides direction and support to the Machine Operators / Technician production team. Drives compliance with standard operating procedures and policies, such as Safety, Quality, GMP, and CPS.

Roles and Responsibilities :

Champions a safety culture, ensures a safe work environment, and promotes safe behavior.

• Monitors environment and becomes aware of conditions that may affect employee safety and security; takes corrective action.
• Communicates to ensure employees learn and comply with specifications, blueprints, job orders, and company policies.
• Prepares training plans and conducts or assigns safety, maintenance, machine operation and quality assurance training to new employees.
• Prepares documentation and provides performance feedback to introductory employees.
• Provides feedback to plant leaders concerning employee performance and behavior.
• Ensures employees have required tools, supplies and area to exercise their duties.
• Operates blow mold machines and other related equipment.
• Analyzes charts, work orders, production schedules, and other data to drive production requirements.
• Performs and / or assigns personnel to conduct audits, weights and quality checks.
• Troubleshoots and resolves process problems and makes minor repairs to blow-mold and support equipment.
• Prepares and documents daily production reports, including rejects, regrinds, line efficiencies.

Other duties and roles maybe assigned by plant management.

Minimum Requirements :

• Three plus years' experience in Machine Operator / Technician role.
• Three plus years' experience in manufacturing.
• Altium certified Machine Technician II required.
• High School diploma.

Preferred Qualifications :

Associate's degree or equivalent.
