Lingo Staffing is now hiring for Skilled Machinists in the Oklahoma City area!
Pay Rate : $20 - $27 per hour (DOE)
Schedules : 5 am to 3 : 30 pm Monday Through Thursday and 5 am to 5 : 30 pm Friday through Sunday
Position Overview :
We are looking for an experienced Machinist with at least 2 years of machining experience. The ideal candidate should be proficient with FANUC or HAAS controls and have experience in programming these systems.
This role requires someone who can not only operate but also set up their own machines. Experience with both mill and lathe machines is preferred, though expertise in one will be considered.
Key Responsibilities :
- Machine Setup -Set up CNC machines, ensuring all tools and programs are properly installed for optimal operation.
- Machining-Operate and machine components with precision, following technical drawings and specifications.
- Programming- Create and modify programs using FANUC or HAAS controls to achieve desired specifications and tolerances.
- Inspection & Quality Control- Measure and inspect parts to ensure they meet project and quality standards, making adjustments as necessary.
- Troubleshooting- Identify and resolve issues with machine operations, programs, or setups to minimize downtime and ensure efficient production.
- Safety- Follow all safety protocols and procedures in the machining environment.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of machining experience
- Proficiency with FANUC or HAAS controls, including programming
- Ability to set up CNC machines independently
- Mill or lathe experience required (both preferred)
- Must be able to communicate effectively and understand English
- Preferred : Experience with both mill and lathe machines
