We are looking for a capable Leasing Agent to present and lease properties to prospective renters. The goal is to scout potential clients, turn them into actual ones, and achieve high occupancy rates.
We need proactive people-persons who are well-versed and visible in the local community. The right candidate should be prepared to conduct market surveys and shop in competitive communities.

Compensation : $35,000 - $65,000

Responsibilities :
- Promote available properties using various social media and websites to help ensure quick rental contracts
- Ensure proper maintenance and inspect properties periodically to maintain our level of company standards
- Show prospective tenants properties and highlight the provided amenities to help ensure rental contract
- Negotiate leasing terms and conditions and close the deal
- Validate all personal references and rental application information
- Process contracts with tenants and collect security deposits to ensure the closing of the deal
- Become acquainted with client expectations of housing and finances and highlight properties that meet those expectations
- Advertise available properties using a variety of social media and promotional materials to help secure quick rentals of all properties
- Research local rental rates and calculate costs to determine fair and competitive pricing
- Show prospective tenants' properties and highlight the provided amenities to help ensure the rental contract
Qualifications :
- Competent in Microsoft Office programs and willingness to learn new programs and systems
- Past sales experience is preferred
- Working knowledge of real estate law and leasing practices
- Ability to communicate effectively both oral and written
- Ability to use computer programs such as Microsoft Office and Excel
