Patient Services Representative

The Patient Services Representative is a high-level customer service position that is one of the first lines of communication within the department. The Patient Services Representative is responsible to ensure that each customer, patient, and coworker is treated in a professional and friendly manner. The main responsibility is to answer phone calls and respond to requests of those calls. This individual may be assigned other projects as needed and be expected to complete the project within a certain timeframe.

Responsibilities

Responsible for greeting customers, providing information, and communicating with other departments. Responsible for appointment scheduling.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. High School diploma or equivalent required.

2. Minimum of one year experience in customer service.

3. Six (6) months experience in a health care setting and office equipment preferred.

4. Current BLS certificate.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $16.00 to $24.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
