Commercial HVAC Project Manager Job Description
GPAC, a 30+ years recruitment company, is partnered with a well-established company in the New Commercial HVAC construction industry.
Our client, a family business since 1992, started in General Construction and has since grown into a Mechanical service company as well.
We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Project Manager to join their team. This is an amazing opportunity for candidates who are looking to further their career in the HVAC industry and work with a reputable company that values its employees and customers.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct light to heavy commercial HVAC plan inspections
- Manage new construction projects from conception to completion
- Develop bids for HVAC projects and participate in the bidding process
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project success
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, and quality control
Essential Job Functions :
- Demonstrate expertise in commercial HVAC systems and equipment
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design effective HVAC systems
- Provide technical guidance to project teams and field technicians
- Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays
Skills :
- 5-10 years of experience in commercial HVAC plan inspections and new construction projects
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and installation practices
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively
