Gastroenterologist NP/PA

We are seeking an exceptional Gastroenterology APP Physician to join our distinguished Gastroenterology department. This role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality care to patients with a range of gastrointestinal disorders while working within a supportive and dynamic team environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Patient Care : Perform comprehensive evaluations and manage treatment plans for patients with gastrointestinal conditions such as IBD, liver disease, and gastrointestinal cancers.
• Collaboration : Work closely with gastroenterologists, surgeons, and other specialists to coordinate care and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Procedures : Assist in and, where appropriate, perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including endoscopies, biopsies, and other gastroenterological interventions.
• Education : Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications to enhance their overall health and well-being.
• Research and Development : Engage in clinical research, contribute to the development of new protocols, and stay abreast of advancements in gastroenterology to continually improve patient care.
• Quality Improvement : Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to best practices and hospital protocols.

Qualifications :

• Education : Advanced practice degree (Master’s or Doctorate) in Physician Assistant Studies or Nurse Practitioner program with a focus in gastroenterology or related field.
• Certification : Board certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C). Certification or significant experience in gastroenterology preferred.
• Experience : Minimum of 1 year of experience in gastroenterology or a related field is highly desirable.
• Skills : Strong clinical skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
