• Work a 1st shift schedule with our growing maintenance team to ensure proper operation of our industrial equipment and machinery
• Diagnose and repair various egg grading equipment, egg packers, egg washers & dryers, robotic loaders & box tapers, production printers, conveyor belts, power jacks, and production printers
• Perform fabrication and preventive maintenance to keep production lines running efficiently
• Foster communication with production workers on equipment downtimes and maintenance plans
• Comply with regulations, rules & requirements by keeping a safe & clean working environment
• Maintain inventory of equipment, parts, & supplies and order additional materials as needed
• Ensure material data safety sheet information is accurate and all chemicals are properly labeled

Westfield Egg Farm, a fourth-generation family-owned business, is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to keep all our egg grading and material handling equipment in excellent operation.

Our Ideal Maintenance Mechanic :

Experienced : A High School diploma is preferred, and at least 5 years of experience working as a maintenance mechanic or technician.

3 years of proven leadership skills as a team lead or supervisor. Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification is a plus.

• Mechanical Skills : Ability to read & interpret diagrams, schematics, and drawings.

• Problem-solver : Someone who can identify sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems, and using precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Active : Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, kneel, and stand on your feet for extended periods. Tolerance of various temperatures, including cold and heat.
• Computer skills : Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office products and Excel.
