Job Duties
This position performs complex administrative work with regional and statewide impact. Requires independent thought and judgment in support of department programs and activities. Reports to Training and Research Manager-SES and provides technical presentations to internal and external customers as requested.
Reviews and examines business processes and systems within the department to ensure compliance with state and federal laws, agency rules, policies and procedures. Uses data models as a communication tool and assists customers in organizing work flow activities and developing business strategies. Assists in developing solutions to increase process efficiencies and communications between users. Develops and implements best management practices relating to business process excellence. Conducts and interprets statistical analyses for business process excellence projects.
Collaborates in providing facilitation services regarding organizational development to the department and external customers, including focus groups, listening sessions, brainstorm meetings, assessments, information interviews, etc. Assists in the development of strategic planning best management practices and the implementation of the practices throughout the department. Develops and deploys measurable criteria to evaluate effects of change initiatives in relation to the department's strategic plan. Monitors execution of change initiatives and provides findings in a timely and efficient manner that meets customer needs.
Conducts surveys for the department to include development, management, result stratification and reporting.
Consults with department managers in SOP development.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
