Lexington Country Club in Fort Myers is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Golf Professional to play a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional golf experience to our members and guests.
This position involves assisting in the management of the golf shop operations, promoting the game, coordinating events, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.

Lexington is an excellent location that offers an 18-hole championship golf course redesigned by Kipp Schulties Golf Design.
The original course designed and completed by Gordon Lewis in 1995 has served us well. In 2015, the membership approved a complete renovation of the course that began in April 2017, designed by the hottest young architect in the business, Kipp Schulties Golf Design.
Kipp's design has created a stunning look to our championship course. It incorporates the most popular new turfs - celebration grass from tee to green and Tif Eagle on the putting surface.
Features include generous fairways, large greens, plenty of risk / reward opportunities, strategic bunkers, and numerous water hazards.
There are great visual looks of rock walls and landscaping to enhance the golf experience. Six tee box choices, with descending yardages from the "tips" of over 7,000 yards, allow players of all skill levels to score well and enjoy themselves.
Essential Responsibilities :
- Demonstrate effective communication skills across all levels, including team members, leadership, guests, vendors, and contractors, while maintaining tact and diplomacy.
- Foster teamwork, professionalism, and camaraderie among all employees.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, as well as Point of Sale (POS) operations.
- Accurately manage the Chelsea lottery tee time system.
- Contribute to tournament planning, promotion, course preparation, scoring, announcements, billing, and results presentation.
- Assist with member check-in and monitor tee sheet accuracy.
- Provide training and support to golf operations staff as needed.
- Display self-motivation and a commitment to personal improvement and career progression.
- Participate in inventory counting and contribute to merchandise displays.
