POSITION OVERVIEW :

The Contracts Analyst is responsible for activities that support the contracting of payors and funding sources for CARD services.

The Contracts Analyst will assist the Contracts Manager in managing various aspects of contract administration, to include reviewing contracts and ensuring compliance with payor requirements.

This position reports to the Contracts Manager. This hourly, full-time position is expected to represent CARD professionally and ethically to internal and external stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Supports manager’s negotiations with payors through documentation, tracking, and communication.
  • Reviews payor contracts as instructed by manager to identify potential risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborates with internal departments, including Legal, Finance, and Operations, to gather necessary information and facilitate contract approvals and execution.
  • Becomes proficient in and utilizes Calmanac as a tracking and documentation tool and maintains accurate and up-to-date contract records such as contract status, key dates, and other projects.
  • Tracks activities and follows up with payor through all phases of contract finalization.
  • Monitors contract performance and payor portals to identify potential amendments or extensions of contracts and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Documents and reports deviations from contract specifications.
  • Assists the Manager in conducting research on payor requirements, as needed.
  • Serves as internal liaison to ensure fulfillment of obligations of contracts by internal and external parties.
  • Stays informed about relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends related to ABA.

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE :

  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years’ experience in contracting or other related discipline

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES :

  • Excellent interpersonal relationship skills
  • Strong computer skills; MS : Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work well alone or as part of a team
  • Maintain confidential records and files
  • English proficiency, both verbal and written, is required

WORK ENVIRONMENT :

This is a fully remote position.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time.
