Job Title : Mechanical Project Manager
Location : Andover, MA
Responsibilities :
- Project Management : Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Client Interaction : Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status, addressing client concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Team Leadership : Coordinate and collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams, including engineers, designers, and technicians, to achieve project goals and deliverables.
- Risk Management : Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, proactively addressing challenges and obstacles to minimize disruptions and delays.
- Contract Management : Manage project contracts and agreements, including scope, schedule, and budget, to ensure adherence to contractual obligations and client expectations.
- Continuous Improvement : Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize project management processes, methodologies, and tools, enhancing efficiency, effectiveness, and client value.
- Design : Engage in design activities, contributing technical expertise and insights to the development of mechanical engineering solutions.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred; Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is also acceptable.(not required)
- 4-7 years of experience in mechanical engineering project management within the building and construction industry.
- Strong technical expertise in HVAC systems, plumbing systems, and building mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations, including ASHRAE, NFPA, and International Mechanical Code (IMC).
