Randstad is seeking an experienced Operations Manager with 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting. This candidate will be responsible for root cause analysis, deep dive in problem solving and the ability to drive a team toward lean methodologies and lead people.

This is a full time, direct hire position with employee perks and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Ability to drive a team toward the above methodologies and lead people (influence, power, drive).
• Participate in long-term planning and strategy development to support the company’s growth objectives.
• Manage the operations budget, including labor, materials, and overhead costs, to meet financial targets.
• Optimize resource allocation and inventory management to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all areas of operations, including production, maintenance, logistics, and supply chain.
• Utilize data and analytics to identify opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices.
• Lead problem-solving efforts to address production challenges and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
• Implement and oversee lean manufacturing initiatives to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
• Lead and mentor a team of department heads, supervisors, and production staff to achieve operational goals.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, and profitability.
• Foster a positive work environment focused on employee engagement, development, and retention.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced manufacturing technologies
