A prominent Commercial Real Estate investment firm is looking for a talented attorney to fill the SVP Commercial Real Estate Attorney position.

A strong background in commercial real estate law, sharp business acumen, and the ability to manage multiple projects are essential for this role.
The ideal candidate will work closely with senior management and external legal advisors to develop legal policies and strategies in a dynamic business setting.
We are looking for someone with proven expertise in handling complex legal issues, a strong understanding of transactional and litigation matters, and a competitive compensation package with a performance-based bonus.
Some of the Responsibilities will include :
- Ensure the company strictly adheres to all relevant laws and regulations.
- Select, collaborate with, and manage relationships with external law firms.
- Provide legal advice to senior management on issues affecting transactions and daily operations.
- Resolve legal matters such as lawsuits, arbitration, and settlement discussions to avoid future conflicts.
- Keep the company's legal documents, policies, and procedures up to date.
- Lead the legal department and work with other departments to provide legal guidance on various company projects.
- Oversee the loan documentation process from start to finish, including initial drafting by external legal counsel and negotiating terms with involved parties.
Experience / Qualifications :
- Skilled in reviewing and negotiating legal agreements, managing transactions, and overseeing dispute resolution processes.
- Over 10 years of experience in legal roles focused on real estate law, including commercial litigation and transactional matters.
- Experience in managing or mentoring team members is a plus.
- Proficient at simplifying and explaining complex legal concepts both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting strict deadlines.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Active bar membership is preferred but not required.
- Capable of making independent decisions with minimal supervision. Self-motivated with a talent for creativity and problem-solving.
Education / Requirement :
- Possesses a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a recognized law school
- 10 years of Commercial Real Estate experience
- 5 years of litigation experience (real Estate)
- Proficiency in loan document review
