Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develops positive relationships with key stakeholders in each health system in the region in pursuit of delivering an exceptional customer experience
- Consistently looks for and acts on selling opportunities in pursuit of ongoing business growth.
- Partners with internal resources in order to drive additional value and expertise
- Analyzes data to research and resolve member concerns and to identify opportunities to increase volume commitments
- Continuously reinforces the Civica value proposition while securing product renewal commitments and asking for increased commitment levels
- Analyzes and tracks health system trends and affiliation activities
- Shares best practices across members and internally with teammates
- Provides feedback / suggestions to consistently improve the workflow related to account setup and ongoing management
- Potentially joins the VP, Member Services in new business prospecting and sales calls
- Shows ability to participate in or lead commercial or organizational special projects as needed
- Ensures commitment to compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree required.
- Minimum five years of demonstrated successful experience in strategic sales and account management roles in a healthcare setting, with preference for selling to hospital system pharmacists, pharmacy operations, and drug supply chain
- Ability to lead initiatives independently and as part of a team
- Possesses a high level of urgency with a bias towards action
- Demonstrates strong problem solving skills
- Project management skills with attention to details
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
