Description

Job Objectives :

Underwrite both new and renewal E&O business.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Analyze and evaluate primary and excess Errors & Omissions risks
• Compliance with underwriting guidelines, systems and procedures
• Maintain and develop broker relationships
• Adhere to service standards
• Contribute to underwriting team’s monthly and annual production goals
• Attend and engage in routine team underwriting discussions
• Responsible for developing new business production and broker relationships
• Assist with product and system training
• Travel for broker and client visits as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Requirements :

• Between two (2) and eight (8) years insurance experience (Professional Liability insurance experience preferred)
• College degree (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
• Excellent organizational skills, time management skills and flexibility
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high pressure environment
• Solid writing and communication skills
• General computer and Office Suite skills
• Willingness to travel (up to 10%)
