Location : Port Arthur, Texas

Schedule : Monday - Friday

Pay Rate : Depending on experience

Job Description : We are seeking an experienced Civil Designer. Our client is implementing a comprehensive civil asset program that involves identifying and detailing critical civil assets, conducting visual inspections, and documenting findings using CAD software.

The role includes creating inspection reports, managing data within an IMS database, generating Equipment Care Histories (ECHs), and making recommendations for corrective actions (CAIRs).

Key Responsibilities :

• Identify and assess issues with concrete and steel structures requiring repair.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to accomplish project goals.
• Utilize computer skills to manage data and documentation, including proficiency with Excel, Word, Adobe PDF, and CAD programs (BricsCAD experience preferred).
• Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion.

Minimum Requirements :

• 5-7 years of experience in civil design or a related field.
• Strong background in civil / structural inspection (preferred but not required).
• Proficiency in CAD software (BricsCAD preferred) and general computer applications, including IMS (preferred but not required).
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience with IMS database management.
• Previous experience in civil / structural inspection and repair documentation.
