Axient is seeking a Junior Technical Analyst to conduct comprehensive research and analysis on existing and emerging foreign battlefield threat targets (FBTT), focusing on Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and Remote Access Munitions (RAM) targets.
The role requires proficiency in gathering technical intelligence, evaluating threat capabilities, and contributing to the development and maintenance of a robust FBTT database.
What you will do...
Technical Research and Analysis :
- Conduct in-depth technical research on FBTT, with a specific emphasis on UAS and RAM targets.
- Analyze data from various sources to identify capabilities, vulnerabilities, and emerging trends.
- Collaborate with intelligence professionals to assess threat levels and potential impact on operations.
Database Development and Management :
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive FBTT database to centralize gathered intelligence.
- Ensure accuracy, relevance, and timeliness of data entries through continuous updates and verification.
- Implement standardized procedures for data collection, storage, and retrieval.
Reporting and Documentation :
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations based on analysis findings for stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Document methodologies, findings, and recommendations to support ongoing and future operations.
- Contribute to the development of technical reports and intelligence briefings as required.
Skills you will need...
- MS degree in Counter-Terrorism required.
- 0 - 3 years experience desired.
- Must have an active and transferable DoD security clearance with current investigation at the required level. Must be able to maintain the required clearance.
- Strong interpersonal skills and above average verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to : Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
