Position Summary :
This position is a dual role as a Clinical Registered Dietitian ( hours per week) and Food Service Director ( hours per week) in Training.
As a Clinical Registered Dietitian, this person will provide nutritional care for patients, develop and implement nutritional education programs for the medical center and community, and assist with in-service training and quality improvement programs.
Job Duties / Responsibilities :
- Demonstrates the ability to screen patients for identification of nutritional intervention.
- Exhibits knowledge to integrate clinical, anthropometrics, laboratory, social, psychological and nutrition data into assessment, identify modification of food / nutrient intake and route administration.
- Records pertinent patient nutritional care documentation in medical record and validates patient charges for nutritional care.
- Develops and implements nutrition care plan based on objective data from nutrition assessment.
- Evaluates and adjusts as necessary based on outcome of care and continuous monitoring of patient’s needs.

Qualifications
Requirements :
- BS degree in Food, Nutrition, or Dietetics required.
- Registered Dietitian and Licensed Dietitian (LD) licensing required. Oklahoma Medical Board licensure can be applied for and work performed under the Food Service Director during first several months of work.
- One-year experience as a dietitian in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Good written and oral communication skills required.
- Typing and basic computer skills required.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications preferred.
