Our client, a leader in government site management and space exploration projects, is seeking a Stress Engineer to join their team.

As a Stress Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering department supporting the Mobile Launcher 2 (ML2) project at Kennedy Space Center (KSC).

The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.

Job Title : Stress Engineer

Location : On-site at Kennedy Space Center, FL (Remote considered)

Pay : Competitive with per diem available for non-local hires

Key Responsibilities

Perform pipe stress analysis using AutoPipe in compliance with ASME B31.3

Ensure piping flexibility and equipment nozzle load qualification

Collaborate with layout personnel, pipe support engineers, and vendors

Coordinate across engineering disciplines for project integration

Support Bechtel Construction during the transition from Engineering to Construction

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 6+ years of relevant experience

Proficiency in AutoPipe for pipe stress analysis

Knowledge of ASME B31.3 and other industry piping codes

Dynamic analysis experience and PE registration preferred

Due to government contract requirements, U.S. citizenship is necessary for this role.
