SMS Staffing Inc is Hiring Immediately for a skilled Forklift Driver - Housekeeping!

Job Title : Forklift Driver - Housekeeping

Job Location : Tipp City, OH, U.S.A. 45371

Job Type : Contract (possible extension or convert to hire)

Pay : $17.71 an hour

Shift Structure : ONSITE, 11 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

The role of the Forklift Driver - Housekeeping :

• Operate gasoline, diesel, electric, or propane-powered industrial trucks equipped with lifting devices such as forklifts, elevating platforms, or buckets to aid in loading and moving materials.
• Sweep floors and pick up plastic, cardboard, and trash to maintain cleanliness.
• Handle trash bins, including taking bins back and replacing them with new ones.
• Manage recycling of plastic and cardboard materials, including bailing and replacing bins.
• Utilize shop vacuums in needed areas for cleaning purposes.
• Clean and maintain dock pits and exterior lot cleanliness.
• Operate floor scrubbers to ensure cleanliness of floors.
• Load trash trucks, dunnage, and recycling materials.
• Perform cobweb removal and various dusting tasks.
• Assist in audit preparation support for management.
• Work in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines and maintain high standards of cleanliness.

About the Forklift Driver - Housekeeping :

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience :

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0-1 year previous experience in a similar role preferred.
• Ability to operate industrial trucks safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
