The Resource is hiring a Process Technician for our client, a plastic fabrication company, located in Lexington, NC! This is a permanent, Direct-Hire opportunity that offers a pay rate of $19.
00 per hour, and has a 2nd shift schedule. The Process Technician would be responsible for starting up and maintaining molding machines for production by entering data per approved setup sheets and checking the auxiliary equipment to ensure it is operating correctly.

Responsibilities
- Support, strengthen and advance the mission and operating philosophy team
- Abide by all regulations within the Employee Handbook
- Participate in required training programs
- Start-up and maintain molding machines for production by entering data per approved setup sheets
- Submit first and last piece articles to the Quality Department for approval
- Monitor accuracy of process setups thru out shift (Daily Verification of Setup Monitoring Sheet)
- Stop production and / or delivery if necessary to correct quality problems
- Ensure that all machines are running at approved cycle
- Troubleshoot and answer machine alarms to improve production and reduce downtime
- Set molds, assist with paperwork needed to track changeover times
- Check the auxiliary equipment to ensure it is operating correctly, everything is functioning
- Have flexibility to complete projects assigned by the Plant Manager or Shift Supervisor
- Maintain the Quality Management System as it pertains to area of responsibility
- Use appropriate safety equipment
