Description of the role :
Equitable is seeking a talented Financial Advisor to join our team in Rochester, New York.
As a Financial Advisor, you will provide comprehensive financial planning, investment advice, and portfolio management services to clients.
This role offers the opportunity to develop and grow your own client base while working alongside a supportive team of experienced professionals.
Responsibilities :
- Utilize your knowledge and expertise to assess clients' financial goals and develop personalized financial plans
- Offer recommendations on various investment products and services based on clients' needs and risk tolerance
- Monitor and manage clients' investment portfolios, making adjustments as necessary to ensure they remain aligned with their goals
- Provide ongoing financial advice and guidance to clients, keeping them informed of market trends and changes that may impact their investments
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and meetings
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to all applicable laws and regulations
- Collaborate with other team members to identify opportunities for cross-selling and referral business
Requirements :
- Must be willing to obtain : NY L&H, SIE, Series 7 and 66 licenses
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
