Hours : 8 : 00 a.m. - 4 : 30 p.m.
Duties :
The Logistics Management Specialist Shall :
- Coordinate material flow within departments based on production schedules and priorities.
- Review tasks, requisition materials, and establish delivery sequences.
- Ensure examination of delivered materials for compliance with specifications.
- Supervise material handling, including relocation and transportation.
- Assist Program Supervisor with various tasks.
- Monitor and assign tasks from the tasking email box.
- Ensure timely completion of all assigned tasks.
- Provide logistical support, including coordinating shipments and managing inventory.
- Oversee tasks and address issues promptly to ensure smooth operations.
- Determine technical needs and communicate with personnel for on-time task execution.
Management-related skills are required
Must be able to multi-task.
Possess key skill sets such as communication, leadership, critical-thinking, organization, and problem-solving.
Shall be physically able to perform the assigned work which includes lifting boxes weighing up to seventy-five (75) pounds.
Shall be required to operate vehicles when required or as a back-up to any vehicle operator position as the Courier / Driver.
Experience :
- more than five years of direct experience in Logistics management.
- minimum of two-year specialized experience using the Windows Operating System environment or higher and word processing software such as, MSWord, Excel, etc.
Education / Certification :
High School diploma or equivalent.
Shall be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
Requirement : Top Secret level security clearance .
